19th June 2026:
We had a wonderful stay in Benview Cottage and would not hesitate to recommend it. The accommodation was cosy, comfortable, very well equipped and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. It was especially great as we took our dog and the cottage was thoughtfully set up for him too. There are a plethora of beautiful scenic walks right from the doorstep which allowed us to choose a different route every day. The location was also fantastic for exploring the island. Our hosts Rob and Nanette were friendly, welcoming and very helpful throughout our stay. Needless to say we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would very happily return.
Tips:The Bay kitchen and Stores has everything and more you could need if you want to cook in and our favourite lunch spot was The Old Pier Cafe in Lamlash

31st March 2026:
Rob and Nanette are perfect hosts. Very welcoming and can’t do enough for you. The cottage is the cutest and cosiest place I have ever stayed. They really have thought of everything to make your stay so memorable. Including a lovely welcome basket, using local products, Robs homemade jam and marmalade and Nanette’s homemade biscuits. My partner was also over the moon to learn Rob is a Newcastle United supporter!
Tips:All of Arran is amazing. We enjoyed the Glenisle Hotel in Lamlash…. Very friendly. The Shore cafe is amazing… all home cooked produce… cheese scones are a must!!

27th March 2026:
A really lovely spot to stay made even better by Nanettes hospitality. So nice to have special touches such as a welcome basket of food and robes/slippers. Location is perfect, perched up on a small hill and easy access to the countryside for amazing walks. Cottage is cosy and has everything you need, is a fantastic alternative to just booking an Airbnb. Would highly recommend!
